We're so happy to see a collaboration between Cambridge Cleantech (representing cleantech SMEs) and Cambridge Zero (coordinating research and policy towards a zero carbon world across the University).
The "Zero Carbon: Research to commercialisation" morning was held at the Maxwell Centre, in the heart of the West Cambridge University site, home to physical sciences research. I loved the format of juxtaposing an academic researcher and a business-side representative talking on the same theme - so for example we had Dr Adam Boies giving a comprehensive round-up of built environment research happening at Cambridge, followed by the corporate investor view of market opportunities from Johnson Matthey's Paul Williams.
Thanks to Dr Emily Shuckburgh and Dr Ada Iwasiewicz-Wabnig for hosting, and to all at Cambridge Cleantech.
